026 Apprentice Opportunities

Apprentice Opportunities for 2026

We are currently hiring for a Marketing Apprentice Role. This position will coordinate with our social media manager to ensure that paper and digital marketing is released in a timely manner. Role responsibilities also include archiving and arranging class and student images for promotional use.

Apprentices at Ghosthouse play an essential role in helping the studio run while gaining access to valuable educational and professional opportunities. In exchange for their time and support, apprentices receive complimentary fine art classes, discounts on materials from Reliquary, a Guild Membership, and the chance to work closely with instructors through a traditional workshop style learning.

Each apprentice role has a unique focus within the studio, but all share in the core tasks of studio life: helping promote, set up and clean up for classes, workshops, and exhibitions, assisting with projects, events, our artist supply shop Reliquary, and pitching in on monthly deep-cleaning days. The program is designed for individuals who are serious about building skills and a career as a fine artist while being a part of a supportive, working studio environment.

Indviduals who apprentice with us are required to complete the Core Foundations Program, and are highly encouraged to study in the Core Drawing & Painting Program. Apprentices receive a 75% discount on these programs.

Apprentice Benefits

  1. Studio space at Ghosthouse and admission into the Core Foundations Program

  2. Free admission to all GH classes and events while assisting. In the rare case, some classes may require that the apprentice pay a small materials fee.

  3. Opportunity to show in GH and GH affiliate faculty exhibitions.

  4. 20% discount on supplies from Reliquary. (Some exceptions for rare and high price items)

  5. A Ghosthouse Guild Membership for the length of your internship with us. See website for benefits.

  6. Consistent one-on-one instruction and mentorship with GH instructors and visiting artists.

Best wishes,
