This course centers on developing a steady sketchbook habit as a place to develop ideas, visual thinking, and quiet observation. Students will explore subjects of their choosing—objects, interiors, figures, landscapes; while learning the importance of this practice in building momentum and strong ideation for finished works.

This class includes a Sketchbook for student use and consists of both in studio and at home studies.
