Focusing on strong composition, atmosphere, and delicate layering techniques, students will learn to create a single 12”x16” landscape painting in oil. Each week, we will go over various approaches and techniques of landscape painters from the 18th and 19th centuries, aiming to incorporate elements of their work into ours.

It is recommended to have taken out Oil Painting Fundamentals class before registering for this class, as it builds upon principles taught in that class.
