This course explores the subtle practice of landscape painting in watercolor. Students will learn to simplify complex scenes into clear value shapes, build atmospheric depth through layered washes, and capture light with restraint rather than excess.

By the end of the class, students will have completed several small landscape paintings that reflect clarity of structure, sensitivity to color, and a sense of space & atmosphere.
