Over the years, many artists have asked for ways to extend their paint. This is something I frown upon because extenders often make paint more vulnerable. But given the demand, I’ve formulated something to my liking that has a pleasant linseed oil scent.

My Oleo Impasto Medium is a gel made from fumed silica and linseed oil, the combination of which imparts great luminosity, particularly with transparent colours. Use this in varying amounts with a brush or knife to achieve extra body.

Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid is great for glazing in fine art painting. It dries slowly, allowing artists extended periods of working time. This acrylic medium improves brushability and is useful for wet-in-wet blending.

Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid also works well for creating glazes or faux finishes on interior walls and furniture.

Gamsol is an excellent solvent for thinning Gamblin mediums and for general painting. It evaporates 100% and leaves no residue in paint layers. Gamsol is less toxic than other brands of OMS (Odorless Mineral Spirits), mineral spirits, or turpentine because the harmful aromatic solvent component has been removed. It's also useful for studio and brush cleanup.
